Robert Thompson - Duncan 1998
I was on pills – 24 pills four times a day, for seven years of my life. Yechh. This is the clouds giving my expression. I'm very angry, very cloudy when I was on 24 different kinds of medication and I drew every one of them. This is the side of room of ward 72, and the nurse looking in to see if I'm being a good kid. This is the black window where you couldn't see out but she could see in. And this is where the food came through to you which was baby pabulum which was gross. And this is since I left the institution. This is Janet looking out of the window of our house. And these are all my flowers and my dog. And that's when Janet and I got married and it's been the most wonderful part of my life and it still is today. And I'll be happy for a long time because I have my freedom.
